TCI Coastal Tours is a tour company that offers scenic sightseeing trips to the attractions and small cays near Providenciales. Tours take place aboard their custom-built 28-foot (8.5 m) cruising boat, Maria, which has a Bimini top roof for shade and a ramp for easy access to the beach (without needing to swim to shore).

Sightseeing tours are offered several days per week, and stop at popular boating destinations such as Little Water Cay (Iguana Island), Pine Cay, and the La Famille Express. These trips are well-suited to visitors who want a guided tour of the small cays and islands near Providenciales but who don’t want to snorkel or swim during their excursion.

All shared sightseeing tours with TCI Coastal Tours include a guide who points out interesting attractions along the way. Tours also include complimentary snacks, as well as champagne, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Tours depart from the South Bank Marina in Long Bay, Providenciales.

Sightseeing Locations and Tours

The company operates two public half-day sightseeing trips: an island-hopping sightseeing tour and a north coast sightseeing tour. Each tour is four hours in duration, and can accommodate up to 12 passengers.

The island-hopping sightseeing tour focuses on several of the small cays east of Providenciales, also known as the Caicos Cays. These include Little Water Cay—a protected sanctuary for the endangered Turks and Caicos rock iguana—the private island of Pine Cay, and the quiet Fort George Cay (once the site of a late 1700s-era gun battery).

On the north coast sightseeing tour, you can see the towering La Famille Express shipwreck (a freighter that is lodged in shallow water about two miles off beautiful Long Bay Beach) as well as the Grace Bay coastline, Little Water Cay, and the popular Noah's Ark floating bar.

Private Tours

In addition to their scheduled island-hopping and north coast sightseeing tours, the company can also accommodate private sightseeing tours and custom Turks and Caicos excursions.

It’s possible to plan a full-day trip to North and Middle Caicos, a private or public full-day boat charter to a location of your choosing, or a private two-hour tour with the company. They also offer a water taxi service if you want to spend a day at the beach of a secluded cay or simply visit one of the popular Turks and Caicos floating bars.

Booking and Reservations

Guests can cancel free of charge four days or more in advance of a scheduled sightseeing tour. Cancelling your trip less than four days before your tour will incur cancellation fees.
