Fun Ride Tours
Providenciales
If you want to discover the beautiful sights and beaches of Providenciales, consider a guided ATV tour with Fun Ride Tours. This local tour company operates a fleet of modern and well-maintained quad bikes that are equipped to handle the many types of terrain found on the island.
Fun Ride’s ATV tours offer a combination of on-road and off-road driving that’s manageable for both experienced riders as well as beginners.
All adventures are guided. Their guides are there to provide background information on the local attractions, point out interesting sights, and answer questions along the way, as well as ensure rider safety.
The minimum driving age is 18 for visitors. Complimentary shuttle pickup services are available for guests staying in the Grace Bay area.
ATV Tours
Fun Ride Tours offers two shared excursions: a West Coast Tour and an East Coast Tour. The company also runs private and customizable all-island tours that you can tailor to your specific interests.
West Coast Tour
This 3-hour tour takes riders to beautiful Discovery Bay, a residential area where turquoise and emerald-green channels are bordered by picturesque homes and luxury villas. The wetlands here are home to quite a bit of wildlife, including the odd flock of flamingos.
The tour also visits the Turk's Head Brewery, the country’s only full-scale brewing operation, where you can taste its best-selling beers at The Taproom. Lunch is at the famous Da Conch Shack restaurant, set right on beautiful Blue Hills Beach. This restaurant is one of the best places on the island to try the local delicacy of conch.
East Coast Tour
Fun Ride Tours' 2-hour East Coast Tour focuses more on exploring the island's natural features. This excursion includes a guided tour of central Grace Bay and takes you to two of the island's top beaches: Long Bay Beach (where you can see kiteboarders and the distant La Famille Express offshore) and Leeward Beach (a pristine white-sand beach lined by luxury properties).
The East Coast Tour also takes you to The Hole, a sunken cave in Long Bay. The lunch spot is Rickie’s Flamingo Café, which serves tasty local food right on Grace Bay Beach.
What to Bring
Be sure to bring a hat and wear sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. Sunglasses are also recommended to shield your eyes from glare and any dust on off-roading sections of the tour. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty—some off-road tracks can be muddy after a heavy rain. Helmets are provided by the company.
