Il Forno is the primary dining option at the boutique Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos, located in the Bight area of Providenciales. This restaurant opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serves a vast menu that ranges from handmade classic Italian dishes to scorched conch salad (a popular Turks and Caicos ceviche-style dish).
The restaurant is in convenient walking distance for guests of the nearby Coral Gardens Resort and The Windsong as well as several beachfront villas in the area. It’s approximately a 10-minute drive from downtown Grace Bay.
Guests of Hotel Indigo can order their meals poolside, beachside, or to their suite through Il Forno’s room service. Brango Coffee, Hotel Indigo’s espresso bar and takeout option, is located nextdoor.
Menu and Cuisine
The food here is primarily Italian with a focus on fresh ingredients, both imported and locally sourced. There's also a fair selection of dishes that accommodate vegetarian diners.
Expect ample choices spanning pasta, seafood, antipasti (starters), and pizza. Il Forno specializes in Neapolitan-style pizza, and there are more than a dozen flavors to choose from, from the classic margherita to the quatro formaggi or funghi pizza made with locally grown mushrooms. More adventurous diners can try their jerk chicken or cracked conch pizza.
This restaurant has one of the island’s more generous kids’ menus, with several pastas and pizzas to enjoy and their signature creamy lasagna.
Desserts include tiramisu, cannoli, panna cotta, crema bruciata, and affogato (gelato in a cup of freshly brewed espresso), as well as the indulgent Nutella pizza.
Opening Hours
Il Forno is open daily and has set hours for service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner (closing for a brief intermission between each meal). Breakfast is 7 AM to 11 AM, lunch is 12 PM to 2 PM, and dinner is 5 PM to 10 PM.
