Turks and Caicos Italian Restaurants

Mahi mahi fish dinner, Italian style
Locally caught mahi mahi, prepared at Baci Ristorante.

One of the most popular cuisines in the world, you’ll have no problem finding authentic Italian food on Providenciales. Known for its pasta and seafood, Italian cuisine is the perfect complement to any island flavor. Whether you crave calamari or spaghetti bolognese, you’ll find a number of fresh, authentic Italian options to choose from on the island—and some with a Caribbean twist.

Upscale Italian Dining

New to the island is The Ritz-Carlton, where you’ll find the Italian restaurant Casa Nonna. Reservations are required here, as is non-beach attire. For a dressed-up evening, Casa Nonna offers an authentic Italian experience with a variety of wines and house-made pastas on offer, with meals available family style of a-la-carte in an elegant setting.

For a more intimate experience, Baci Ristorante is found right on the water in Turtle Cove Marina. Adorned with lights, Baci is the perfect spot for celebrating any occasion. Their extensive menu features all the typical Italian options, like pizzas and fettuccine alfredo, but also offers an extensive antipasti menu, personalized pizza selection, and several veal options. The restaurant also boasts an extensive wine menu, most of which are imported from Italy.

No proper Italian menu lacks pasta: from spaghetti carbonara to seafood linguine and mushroom ravioli, all the typical—and not-so-typical—menu items can be found on the island. Lupo, located in the Regent Village, offers authentic Italian cuisine in a charming Italian-inspired setting. A small restaurant with sidewalk seating, Lupo’s chefs’ creations are distinct and delicious. Steak and fish are included on the menu among endless pastas, like linguine, pappardelle, and orecchiette, so there’s bound to be something just for you here.

When it comes to pizza and pasta dishes, you’ll have many different eateries to choose from on Providenciales. For those looking for a casual dinner option to take home and enjoy from the comfort of your couch, pizza and pasta dishes are also available at the supermarket Graceway Gourmet in the heart of Grace Bay. No matter the type of Italian dining experience you’re looking for, from casual to upscale, you’re bound to find it in the Turks and Caicos.

Pizza

Always popular, our island offers several spots that specialize in pizza, either served beneath string lights or delivered right to your door—just like at home. For truly authentic Italian pizza and other dishes, stop by Bella Luna’s restaurant and pizzeria, conveniently located on Grace Bay Road.

Italian-owned and operated, Bella Luna offers a varied pizza menu that ranges from the Calabrese (with salami and eggplant) to the Contadina (topped with bleu cheese, figs, and walnuts). As is the specialty of their pizza garden, the pizza here is always made fresh and served straight out of the oven—just like their extensive pasta menu.

The restaurant is located outside beneath twinkle lights and a cover of palm fronds, and is fragmented into two part: an upstairs gourmet dining space, and a more casual downstairs pizza garden.

Several restaurants on Providenciales serve pizza, including Pizza Pizza and Baci which serve classic large pizzas, and many other restaurants that offer smaller pies and flatbread pizzas, including Almond Tree at the Shore Club, Lupo, Bob's Bar, Shay Café, and many other places.
