Avis is one of the oldest car rental companies in the Turks and Caicos, with three locations across Providenciales. Much of the Avis fleet consists of Suzuki economy-class compact cars, sedans, and minivans. There’s also a limited selection of scooters, Mini Moke beach buggies, and larger SUVs and 4x4s to choose from.
Avis car rentals in Turks and Caicos has a minimum rental age of 25 years old. Most major credit cards are accepted. Customers with a driver’s license in a non-Roman alphabet are also required to have an international driver’s license.
Avis has a car rental location in the vicinity of the Providenciales International Airport, which is located half a mile (.8 km) away. Avis provides a complimentary shuttle service for its guests to the location upon car rental pickup and drop off. This shuttle service is also offered to guests staying at accommodations across much of Providenciales.
Avis Car Rental Locations in the Turks and Caicos
Avis has three locations on the island of Providenciales, including one Downtown near the Providenciales International Airport, one on Leeward Highway near Turtle Cove and Suzi Turn Road, and one near Grace Bay on Allegro Road.
The Downtown and airport Avis location serves as a customer service center and car pick up and drop off site. It is possible to walk to the location from the airport, yet a complimentary shuttle service is provided for guests.
Avis also has a Grace Bay satellite branch, which also has a limited selection of vehicles, scooters, and Mini Moke open air cars. This location is located near
Graceway Gourmet, and within walking distance of some of the central Grace Bay resorts. Avis is typically willing to provide complimentary vehicle delivery to accommodations when requested as well.
The Leeward Highway location for Avis also serves as their vehicle service center, and is the site for the counterpart business of Bayview Motors, an auto sales and service center.
