Salt Cay Divers is one of the oldest dive shops in the Turks and Caicos and has been operating since 1996. They offer a range of scuba diving packages, snorkeling excursions, and whale watching tours.

Scuba Diving and Snorkeling

The dive shop has a team of PADI-certified dive masters, and provide both instruction and trips. Trips are offered to 16 world-renowned dive sties, and nearly all are within a 5-10 minute boat trip.

Snorkeling cruises are offered to several sites around Salt Cay, including to nearby Gibbs Cay. At Gibbs Cay, friendly stingrays congregate in the waters and it's a unique experience.

Whale Watching

During the months of January to March, whales can be seen migrating to the Silver Banks where they mate and calve. Diving, swimming and snorkeling with whales can be a truly incredible experience, and if you're lucky, you'll get to hear their mesmerizing songs underwater.

Booking and Reservations

Salt Cay Divers operates 3 vessels, including a 31-foot double-deck catamaran and two Carolina skiffs. It's recommended to book in advance, especially for whale-watching.

Many of the dive shops work with accommodations on Salt Cay to provide packages, so it’s worth checking in advance to see what’s available.

Located in Balfour Town

Balfour Town is the primary settlement on Salt Cay. This small region is found on the northwest coast, and many of the island’s essential infrastructure and businesses are located here, including the airport and the primary port of Deane's Dock.
