Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands — United Airlines will begin offering once weekly nonstop flights between Denver and the Turks and Caicos Islands starting December 19.
Flights will depart from Denver International Airport (DEN) and arrive at the Providenciales International Airport (PLS) on Saturdays. Approximate flight time is 5 hours and 46 minutes.
The new route will operate until April 2027 (official end date not yet announced) on a United Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft with 179 seats.
“This new direct service between Denver and Providenciales is tremendously exciting for the Turks and Caicos Islands," said Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands Charles Washington Misick. "Denver is one of America's great aviation gateways, opening convenient access to Colorado, California, and the entire western United States."
The Denver to Providenciales flight is one of 10 new international routes to the Turks and Caicos that were announced in the last month.
Canadian carrier Porter Airlines recently announced new service from Toronto and Ottawa starting this fall, while Bermudian airline BermudAir will offer winter service from Toronto, Bermuda, and six United States airports (Fort Lauderdale, Boston, St. Petersburg/Tampa, Baltimore/Washington, Newark, and Raleigh/Durham).
Currently, there are no direct flights operating between Denver and Providenciales. Travelers coming from Denver typically need to connect through Miami International Airport (MIA) or Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) to visit the islands.
