Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands — US News has named the Turks and Caicos Islands as one of the best places for family vacations in the Caribbean in 2026. The Turks and Caicos Islands placed fifth in the rankings, following the US Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, and Aruba.
According to US News, destinations for the Best Family Vacations in the Caribbean competition were chosen based on the availability and diversity of kid-friendly accommodations, attractions, and ease of travel for families with children, among other factors.
Results were announced Tuesday, and editors supported the ranking by pointing out the country's great snorkeling and boating, its family-friendly beaches (notably Grace Bay and Taylor Bay), and the many amenities of its all-inclusive resorts.
“Travelers young and old will find something to love about Turks and Caicos,” wrote US News.
US News rankings are published annually across a variety of categories. Turks and Caicos ranked first in the media organization’s 2025 list of Best Beaches in the Caribbean and third in its list of Best Destination Wedding Spots in the Caribbean.
Late last year, US News named the islands as one of the Best Destinations in the Caribbean to visit in 2026.
