Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands — The Retreat Turks and Caicos, a new 24-room hotel in the heart of Grace Bay, has opened and welcomed its first guests.

Centrally located in Grace Bay, this property is a short 6-minute walk to Grace Bay Beach, and complimentary beach buggy shuttle is included.

The popular shops and restaurants in Grace Bay are within walking distance, and on-site concierge can assist with planning boat cruises and other excursions. Amenities include a swimming pool, hot tub, guest lounge, fitness center, and a 24-hour front desk.

The grand opening on 1 October was attended by the Premier, Deputy Premier, and the Deputy Governor, along with several other government officials and the general public.

Speaking at the opening, Layvern Daniel, the hotel manager, stated: “Our first guests arrived this morning, and the best thing we can do for them is send them out. Grace Bay is a short walk away, the bikes are by the door, and our team knows exactly where to go. When they come back in the evening, the garden is quiet and someone at the desk will want to hear about their day."

This boutique hotel was intentionally limited to 24 rooms to provide a more intimate and exclusive environment, compared to some of the other large-scale resorts in Providenciales. Accommodations are available in Standard and Superior King and Twin configurations, with connecting rooms for families and guests traveling together, and accessible accommodations.

All stays include a light continental breakfast, along with complimentary parking. Introductory rates begin at $290 per night. Reservations are open at theretreattci.com.
