Due to the impacts of COVID-19 on global travel trends, and government-imposed restrictions, the Turks and Caicos suffered from very limited visitor arrivals, and many local tourism-related businesses are temporarily shut down or have limited operating hours, and some have permanently closed.
This page provides information on what businesses and services in the Turks and Caicos are open, and opening dates for those that are not.
All grocery stores and most car rental companies are open.

The Providenciales International Airport is open, and all domestic airports and ferry ports in the Turks and Caicos are open. Domestic travel between islands is restricted, except for guests staying overnight. Approval must be obtained for domestic inter-island travel prior to travel.
The Grand Turk Cruise Center is not open, and is scheduled to open on 1 January 2021.

Most restaurants on Providenciales are open for business. There’s currently a 10:00 pm to 5:00 am curfew imposed in the Turks and Caicos, and businesses are compelled by law to close at 9:00 pm. This curfew is currently set to expire on 2 November 2020.

Many resorts and hotels, and most rental villas on the island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos are open for business.
On our smaller islands of Grand Turk, Salt Cay, South Caicos, North Caicos, and Middle Caicos, some accommodations and excursion businesses are operating.

Many excursions, boat charters, and water sports businesses on Providenciales are open, and there’s a sufficient selection for a full array of activities and trips for the perfect vacation.
All beaches in the Turks and Caicos are open, and free to use. Our famous beaches, including Grace Bay Beach, Leeward Beach, the Bight Beach, Long Bay, Taylor Bay, and Sapodilla Bay remain spectacular and uncrowded.
The Turk’s Head Brewery is open. Day trips from Providenciales to our outer islands are not viable at this time. The weekly Fish Fry at the Children’s Park on the Bight Beach is not operating, and there’s no scheduled date when it will be.
Turks and Caicos National Trust sites, including Cheshire Hall Plantation, Conch Bar Caves, and Wade’s Green Plantation are either closed or have irregular hours that may require special appointment to visit.

All grocery stores, supermarkets, liquor stores, and seafood markets on Providenciales are open for business, including Graceway IGA, Graceway Gourmet, Graceway Smart, Sunny Foods grocery store, TC Crystal and the Turk's Head Brewery, and the Wine Cellar. Stores are fully stocked.
