Sunshine Nursery

Sunshine Nursery is the oldest still-operating nursery in the Turks and Caicos, having been open for more than 35 years. They are centrally located in Grace Bay, and the famous Coco Bistro restaurant, known for being nestled in a grove of palms, is located adjacent to the nursery’s coconut tree grove.

Plants, Palms, and Trees

The nursery is a major supplier of all types of plants and trees in the islands. Many of these are raised on site, which for some species of palms they sell, can take more than 10 years.

Fruit Trees

The nursery has a range of citrus and other Caribbean fruit trees for sale, including popular choices such as key limes, grapefruit, starfruit, and soursop.

Other Plants

The nursery has a wide range of both decorative and general landscaping plants, including a greenhouse for indoor plants.

Supplies, Maintenance, and Care

The nursery raises a very long collection of plants for landscaping.

The nursery provides a full range of plant maintenance and care products, from soil and fertilizers, to irrigation supplies, to weed and pest control.

Knowledge

Senior staff at Sunshine Nursery have been working with the local environment and plant species for decades, and probably have some of the best knowledge in the islands on dealing with local plant species. They are available for general tips and advice, and also provide more in-depth consultancy services.

Located in Grace Bay

Grace Bay is located on the central northern side of Providenciales, and is the center of tourism, upscale shopping, and dining in the Turks and Caicos. World-famous Grace Bay Beach borders this region, and many of the island’s resorts and hotels are located in the area.
