enza Hotel is a boutique and contemporary hotel that offers visitors peaceful accommodation in a sleek setting at the conveniently located Turtle Cove.
All of the 22 rooms and suites at Zenza Hotel come with a patio or balcony, all overlooking the water at Turtle Cove Marina. From the double deluxe ground floor room up to the indulgent condo deluxe, all of the hotel’s accommodation options are spacious and stylish, each with a contemporary design intended to promote a sense of calm (or zen—hence ZENza).
Regardless of the room or suite you choose, guests staying at Zenza Hotel can expect a 70” Smart TV, Keurig coffee maker, mini-fridge and double-sink vanities. But if you’re looking to splurge, you’ll want to consider one of the penthouse suites or condo deluxe.
The penthouse suites each boast 656 square feet of living space, a king-size bed, 60” round free-standing tub, two large terraces, and an outside Jacuzzi.
Meanwhile, the condo deluxe options each have 1,220 square feet of living space that includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area that can accommodate six people, a living room, and two bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. And bonus: Each bedroom comes with a spacious closet.
Hotel amenities include free Wi-Fi, parking, beach towels, and complimentary golf cart rides to the beach, as well as access to the on-site Glow Fitness Facility (by appointment only).
Perhaps the hotel’s greatest asset is its prime location in Turtle Cove within a short walking distance to the beach. You can step outside your room and be at the beach within 10 minutes (or less if you take advantage of the golf cart access). And just off the beach is Smith’s Reef, an excellent snorkeling spot known for its several coral reefs. Suitable for even those new to snorkeling, it’s not unusual to spot sea turtles, stingrays, and spotted eagle rays at Smith’s Reef, as well as an array of colorful tropical fish ranging from parrotfish to horse-eye jacks.
But if you’d rather stay on land, you can also park your beach towel on the powdery sand and listen to the calming sounds of the surf as you watch boats coming from and going to the marina. This stretch of beach at Turtle Cove is quiet and rarely crowded, so if you’re looking for a tranquil day at the beach, you’ve come to the right place.
If you’re up for an adventure, you can also walk from the beach at Smith’s Reef to the consistently top-rated Grace Bay Beach. It’s a long walk, though, so be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen and water. If you’d prefer an easier route, you can hop in the car and be on Grace Bay Beach within minutes—there are several beach accesses along the route from Turtle Cove to the main Grace Bay strip.
Restaurants and Dining
Another perk of Zenza Hotel’s location: its close proximity to a variety of local restaurants. In the morning, you can head over to Turks Wave Cafe for breakfast and coffee. For those who love pizza and Italian cuisine, there’s Baci Ristorante. And for those seeking a laid-back pub-style place to eat, there’s Sharkbite. Here, you can enjoy comfort food with a cocktail while watching the marina’s resident lemon sharks swim back and forth along the dock. All three restaurants are so close to Zenza that all you have to do is cross the hotel parking lot to reach each one.
If you’re up for venturing out for a 5-minute walk before your next meal, you can also head to the esteemed Mango Reef restaurant, the perfect place for a casual lunch on the water, or a fine dining experience for dinner. Take a stroll along the docks after your meal to check out the boats before heading back to the hotel.
