Walkin Marine carries a wide range of fishing, boating, marine, and water sports supplies.

Walkin Marine is a locally owned and operated family-run retailer that offers marine gear to accommodate fishing, boating, and water sport needs in the Turks and Caicos.

At Walkin Marine you’ll find a vast variety of supplies that includes marine hardware, coatings, chemicals, epoxy resins, fishing rods, bait and tackle, ropes, life vests, boat shades, and much more at reasonable prices. The onsite yard and workshops also offer service and repairs, and vessel storage.

Water Sports and Fishing Equipment

The Turks and Caicos is well known for its pristine maritime environment, which includes a thriving and vibrant fishing and marine industry. Our islands offer the perfect setting for several types of fishing, including deep sea fishing, bonefishing, and bottom fishing in our extensive barrier reefs.

Water sports such as kayaking, scuba diving, paddleboarding, snorkeling, kiteboarding, and more are also popular across the islands. The use of boats and charters is an ideal way to explore the beauty that the Turks and Caicos has to offer.

But for many years, finding the appropriate boating and marine gear on Providenciales proved to be challenging. Very few stores on the island sold the required equipment to meet this demand and to aid visitors and residents alike in adequately preparing for their marine adventures. To fulfill that need, Walkin Marine opened on Providenciales in the very early 1990s, with a shop on Old Airport Road. The business has long since moved to its own expansive location.

Vessel Repair and Service

Located just behind the shop is a boatyard that operates as a service and repair center for small to mid-sized watercraft and vessels, as well as a storage facility for watercraft and vessels. This repair center makes Walkin Marine a convenient one-stop shop for all of your boating needs.

Walkin Marine’s vast product range and well-established reputation within the Turks and Caicos make the company a valuable resource to the nautical community in the islands. Whether you’re a fishing and boating enthusiast, a “newbie” to the marine world, or you’re simply going on a one-time adventure, the minute you walk through Walkin Marine’s doors, you’ll know you've come to the right place.

Walkin Marine’s convenient location also makes it easy to access from anywhere on the island. The retailer is in close proximity to the Downtown area, situated just at the entrance of the settlement of Blue Hills—a local residential area and one of the three original settlements on Provo. You can also reach Walkin Marine within a 10-minute drive from central Grace Bay. Conveniently, a Rubis gas station is also located in close vicinity of Walkin Marine.

If you’re visiting the Turks and Caicos and planning a stop at Walkin Marine, it’s worth driving through Blue Hills to explore more of the area. The main Blue Hills Road in the settlement runs parallel to the ocean, making for a scenic drive. The area is also home to a few restaurants, including Da Conch Shack.

Located in Blue Hills

Blue Hills is a residential community on the north-western side of Providenciales, and one of the three original settlements on the island. The area is primarily residential, with an array of supporting small shops and restaurants, and a scenic coastal road that fronts the original village. Adjacent to the west is the cognate region of Wheeland.
