Providenciales Full-Day Boat Tours

Full-day boat tours are a great way to maximize your time exploring the incredible cays, beaches, and ocean attractions in the Turks and Caicos Islands. These cruises tend to visit many of the same sites as half-day boat tours, but allow you to spend more time at the country's top ocean attractions.
Public full day tours are offered several days per week. These cruises are typically between 6 and 8 hours long and include a generous BBQ lunch served right on the beach. Many companies also offer their full-day tours as private charters.
Where Full-Day Tours Go
As with half-day boat tours, most group full day tours visit the Caicos Cays, a chain of islands between Providenciales and North Caicos that includes Little Water Cay (Iguana Island), Water Cay, Half Moon Bay, Fort George Cay, Pine Cay, and Dellis Cay. The typical itinerary for these public cruises is snorkeling at Leeward Reef, cruising time in Grace Bay and the Caicos Cays, and a stop at one of the pristine beaches found on these small islands.
Seeing the Turks and Caicos Islands rock iguana is a highlight of most trips. This unique and endemic reptile can be found on Little Water Cay, Water Cay, and at Half Moon Bay.
Tour Cost
Shared excursions are popular for several reasons. Not only do they visit many of the same beaches and reefs as the private charter companies, but—in general—they offer a great experience at sea for a much lower cost.
The standard per-person price of a shared cruise varies by company, but it’s typical to pay $250 per adult on a full day BBQ cruise and about $115 per child under 10, inclusives of taxes and fees (2025 prices). Some companies allow infants under 2 years old to ride for free.
Tour prices don't tend to change much throughout the year, though some companies offer special deals during the tourism low season (September and October).
Vessels and Ambiances

The majority of public full day tours take place on either power catamarans or sailboats.
Power catmarans typically offer more of a party vibe. Many of the power catamarans in Turks and Caicos have two levels, and some even have waterslides and diving boards. The two-level power catamarans can be great for longer excursions, as they provide more shade than the typical sailboat.
Each vessel type has its pros and cons. Power catamarans can travel farther in less time, while the sailboats tend to offer a more relaxed experience. The group tours on classic sailboats, such as the Atabeyra, tend to offer a more relaxed and family-friendly ambiance than the power catamarans (which often play loud music and serve large amounts of alcohol).
What's Included?

If you want to spend as much time snorkeling, island-hopping, and cruising the coast as possible, it’s best to book a full-day boat tour.
Like half-day boat tours, full-day tours typically include snorkeling gear, refreshments (such as soda, water, beer, and rum punch), snacks, and a hearty lunch. Some full-day excursions are centered around a beach BBQ, where your crew prepares a delicious spread that can include fresh fish, the local delicacy of conch, and BBQ meat on the beach.
Some full day tours offer complimentary pickup at the resorts in Grace Bay or directly from Grace Bay Beach itself.
Not included are gratuities for staff. In Turks and Caicos, it's common to tip between 15–20% for good service.
