Bright and colorful indoor bar with neon signs and a gelato counter
Indoor bar seating and the gelato counter.

For a fresh and healthy breakfast, brunch, or lunch, give the bright and colorful Sandbox restaurant a try. This eatery in the heart of Grace Bay serves everything from avocado toast and omelets to poke bowls, curries, and fresh brunch drinks like frosé and smoothies.

There’s a breezy shaded patio for outdoor dining and a cozy air-conditioned interior with a Miami-style feel to it, complete with colorful art prints, plants, neon signs, and tropical décor. One of the things that sets it apart from the island's other brunch restaurants is the mini gelateria onsite serving handmade gelato.

Sandbox is a convenient place for a morning or early afternoon meal if you’re staying in Grace Bay or browsing the many quaint souvenir shops of the nearby Regent Village and Saltmills shopping plazas. Service is usually pretty quick.

Located in the same space is the popular Lemon2Go café and the Flowers by EA boutique, which together sell local gifts and souvenirs, grab and go eats, and fresh flowers.

Breakfast and Brunch

Omelet with toast, breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, coffee and matcha, and bagel with smoked salmon
An assortment of the restaurant's popular breakfast dishes.

Breakfast is served daily at Sandbox from 8 AM to 11:30 AM. Pancakes with maple syrup, breakfast wraps and sandwiches, and bagel and lox (smoked salmon and cream cheese) are a few of the popular orders, though you also have the option to build your own plate from their à la carte ingredient list.

You can pair breakfast with fresh juice, a smoothie, tea or hot chocolate, or a caffeinated treat from their selection of specialty coffees. Coffee is prepared fresh by the expert baristas at Sandbox’s sister café, Lemon2Go, and delivered right to your table.

Lunch

Lunch at Sandbox isn't limited to one cuisine, and the menu is a mixture of Asian and popular American dishes, such as tom yum soup, chicken skewers, and their hearty chicken burger.

This spot is one of the better lunch options on Providenciales for vegetarians, as most mains are made (or can be made) without meat. Kids have the choice of grilled cheese, chicken fingers, and pasta, or something from the adults menu.

Gelato

The gelato bar inside Sandbox features around six flavors at any given time that change seasonally. Scoops are served in a cup or a waffle cone and can be topped with treats like mini marshmallows, sprinkles, or M&M's.

Dining Information

Reservations aren’t typically necessary for breakfast or lunch, but are recommended for large parties and when the restaurant hosts its special monthly brunch events. You don't have to be dining in to order gelato. Walk-ins are welcome.

Both cash and card are accepted.
