Big Al’s Island Grill is a burger and fast food restaurant located in the Saltmills Plaza in central Grace Bay, and features an ambiance that’s reminiscent of a 1950s diner.
The Menu
As the restaurant’s name may suggest, the menu is burger-centric, with more than 15 choices that can be customized, and there are also steaks and pizza. The fries and sides choices are also wide, with crinkle fries, waffle fries, shoestring fries, sweet potato fries, mango coleslaw, onion rings, and more.
The Grill
The Black Angus steak selection includes filet mignon, New York Strip, rib eye, T-bone, and surf and turf that incorporates local lobster (when in season) or king crab.
Pizzas are available as 12” medium or 16” large pies, with a full range of classic flavors and more than 15 toppings for custom pizzas.
Appetizers and Nibbles
Appetizers and light dishes include a range of classic bar and grill fare, including chips and salsa, wings, nachos, quesadillas, fried shrimp, sandwiches and paninis, and veggie burgers. There’s a great salad menu as well, with vegetarian, chicken, seafood options, and more.
Desserts include key lime pie, chocolate cake, rum cake, waffle brownies, pudding, and mousse pie.
Location
Big Al’s Island Grill is located at the Saltmills Plaza, which is found on the main ‘strip’ in central Grace Bay. Several shopping plazas are in the direct area, which collectively forms the primary tourism shopping and dining region on Providenciales.
The resorts of Island Club, Inn at Grace Bay, The Regent Grand, and Le Vele Resort are within easy walking distance of this restaurant. Free parking is available onsite.
