Castaways offers a fun island vibe and is a great place to grab food or drinks.

Situated right off the main Grace Bay strip, Castaways is an outdoor restaurant and bar that offers a combination of island dishes and international fare in a casual setting. The dining area is in a picturesque coconut palm tree grove, with a stage for hosting live music, a bar fashioned from a boat hull, and even cornhole boards for keeping the family entertained.

Castaways has become one of the best places on Providenciales to watch live music, and several musicians play weekly shows here.

The Menu

Castaways has a large selection of dishes to suit any preference, but focuses on local cuisine. For a taste of the Turks and Caicos, you can order the popular local dish of conch prepared a variety of ways—from conch salad to cracked (fried) conch and more—or local snapper that is blackened, grilled, or fried. When lobster is in season (from August 1 to March 31), you can order lobster bisque, grilled lobster, or even fried lobster tacos.

The non-seafood options range from jerk chicken to pork belly, burgers, wraps, salads, vegetarian options, and pasta dishes. Their rum cake, a local favorite, is a tasty way to end a meal.

Castaways is a nice restaurant for families with kids, as there are plenty of ways for kids to keep themselves entertained onsite (from the live music shows to games like cornhole, ring toss, and connect four). The kids' menu features classic chicken fingers and fish fingers, pasta marinara, and pasta with butter and parmesan—dishes that can satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

The Drinks

The drinks menu at Castaways is as varied as the food, with an extensive selection of wines, beers, cocktails (frozen or on the rocks), soft drinks, and juices. Castaways offers a daily happy hour, as well as special deals on beer, wine, and other drinks during the week.

If you’re not planning a full sit-down meal, you can grab a drink from the restaurant's unique boat bar, which has been converted from a boat hull.

Live Entertainment

Most nights of the week, Castaways guests can enjoy live music from local artists like Lee and the Island Boys, The Bar Band, and Gordon Lightbourne while savoring their meal. Not hungry, but feel like catching some live entertainment? Come for a drink at the bar and enjoy the show.

Location

Castaways is conveniently located in the heart of Grace Bay, just across the street from the Regent Village. It's within walking distance of numerous resorts, shops, and the beautiful Grace Bay Beach.

With its convenient location right off Grace Bay Road, this restaurant offers plenty of opportunities for people-watching and taking in the sights and sounds of Grace Bay while enjoying your meal.

Reservations usually aren’t necessary for lunch or dinner, but the restaurant tends to be busier on live music nights.
