Caicos Rentals is a water sports company that operates from the tranquil Sapodilla Bay Beach. They specialize in jet ski tours and rentals, and jet car tours and photoshoots.
The company operates from Sapodilla Bay, which is a beach located near Chalk Sound on Providenciales. This coast is unique in that there are a number of vendors stationed on the beach, which offer food, drinks, lounger rentals, and water sports, so it’s possible to spend a large part of the day at the beach.
Jet cars are a flashy and new way to experience the incredible turquoise waters of the Turks and Caicos, and combine the speed and excitement of a jet ski with the aesthetics of a luxury car. Most of these vessels are suitable for two guests, yet some of the larger examples can accommodate four. The jet cars come in a variety of designs, patterned after rides such as a Rolls Royce, Ferrari, or McLaren.
Guests operate their own jet cars, and guides lead via a jet ski or jet car. Minimum guest age to operate a jet car is 16 years old, and minimum passenger age is 4 years old. All guests must wear life vests, which are provided. Like jet skis, jet cars are quite fast, and can reach speeds of 45mph (72kph). The typical jet car experience is 30 minutes, with a 15-minute photoshoot, and 15 minutes of free jet car use. The vessels are operated in the calm waters off of Sapodilla Bay, which is typically sheltered and flat in most wind conditions.
Caicos Rentals also provides jet ski rentals and tours, which are better suited for the longer excursions to attractions such as the La Famille Express shipwreck, Noah’s Ark, Taylor Bay, and the Pirate’s Cave at West Harbour Bluff.
Jet Car Photoshoots
One of the perks of a jet car experience with Caicos Rentals is that a drone photoshoot is included. The turquoise waters at Sapodilla Bay are an amazing backdrop for the cars, and the overhead shots make an incredible souvenir from a vacation in the Turks and Caicos, and are perfect for social media.
