Malcolm's Road Beach, Providenciales
Amanyara is a luxury all-inclusive resort that’s located on the remote west coast of Providenciales, and is part of the Aman family of resorts and residences. It’s flanked by the Northwest Point Marine National Park on the ocean side, and by the Frenchman’s Creek Nature Reserve and Flamingo Creek Bay to the south. The beautiful Malcolm’s Road Beach fronts the northern side of the resort.
This property ranks among the most exclusive resorts in the Caribbean, and has welcomed famous and celebrity guests from around the world.
This accommodation features a low-density layout and design, with secluded pavilions and villas interspersed with ponds and vegetation. The villa accommodations vary in size from 3 to 6 bedrooms, and the pavilions are offered in either a one-room or larger two-bedroom family arrangement.
Amenities include the resort’s concierge service, which assists with activity planning and any guest requests.
Amanyara is a member of the Aman Resorts group, and is their only hotel in Turks and Caicos.
The Beach and Natural Setting
One of the defining aspects of Amanyara as a destination is the incredible and secluded Malcolm’s Road Beach that fronts the resort. This coast combines soft white sand, low limestone cliffs, exquisite ocean clarity, and beautiful snorkeling reefs.
The region surrounding the resort is highly scenic, with coastal, tropical dry forest and wetland environments, and there’s no other development to mar the view.
The ocean fronting the area is part of the Northwest Point Marine National Park, and spectacular snorkeling and diving sites can be found across the reef here.
To the south of the resort is the Frenchman’s Creek Nature Reserve, a complex and beautiful system of marine and tidal wetlands, freshwater ponds, and Karst features.
The Wall
A differing aspect from the Grace Bay Beach area of Providenciales (where many of the island’s resorts are found) is the proximity of the marine wall and deep water off the Caicos Islands. The Turks and Caicos Islands are situated on a submerged plateau, and the transitions from the shallow water on top of the plateau to the great depths off it is often quite drastic. At some sites, this change is a sheer wall, with the depth dropping from 50 feet (15 m) to almost 7,000 feet (2100 m) over a short distance.
The wall is located close off the Northwest Point and Malcolm’s Road coastline, and as such these areas experience large amounts of marine life and the deep blue water not seen at the island’s other beaches.
As the deep Atlantic isn’t far off from the resort, it’s possible to spot pods of dolphins in the distance, and migrating humpback whales during the winter months.
Underwater visibility is also stellar, and perfect for diving and snorkeling.
Water Sports, Nature and Things to Do
Amanyara is about tranquility, so you won’t find any casinos, extravagant nightlife, or water parks. The activities at the site are centered on nature and relaxation.
In addition to lounging on the beach, free guest use of non-powered water sports equipment is offered, and the flotilla includes kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and Hobie Cat sailboats.
A complimentary guided snorkeling trip is also offered every day (weather permitting).
Walking trails lead to a unique tropical dry forest setting, and there’s a nature discovery center, which offers insights on local flora and fauna, and hands-on involvement with turtle and reef projects.
The concierge service is also able to advise on and book yacht charters, golf, fishing, and other activities.
Spa, Fitness, and Wellness
The resort offers a full-service spa (4 separate spa pavilions located next to a tranquil reflecting pond), a yoga and Pilates studio, a fitness center, and tennis courts. Personal trainers are onsite to assist and advise on workouts.
Dining
The onsite restaurant features Mediterranean and Asian-inspired dishes, with indoor, open-air terrace, and beach dining. Fresh Caribbean seafood is a central focus on their menu.
The resort is also home to an organic hydroponic farm that raises produce, and is incorporated with freshly caught seafood, the dishes and food here are created with some of the freshest ingredients on the island.
Private dining can also be arranged if preferred.
Their signature circular bar offers drinks and cocktails, with exceptional views of the western shore of Providenciales.
Reservations and Bookings
As is usual, online prices typically exclude the 12% government accommodation tax. Check before booking if this has been included in the price.

The property offers a low density and eco-friendly resort experience, and opts for stand-alone villas and pavilions instead of conventional hotel rooms.
Getting to Amanyara Resort
The resort is quite a drive from the majority of resorts, restaurants and shopping, and much of the route travels the unpaved and winding road that leads to Malcolm’s Road Beach.
The resort operates a fleet of Land Rovers for guest transport, and includes complimentary airport pick up and drop off, either to the Providenciales International Airport (PLS), or one of the island’s FBOs in the case of arrival by private aircraft.
Transport by the resort to other locations on Providenciales can be arranged, however, it may incur extra fees.
Both of our secluded all-inclusive resorts, Amanyara and COMO Parrot Cay Resort, are found in remote locations. However, the journey to access Amanyara from the airport is quicker as it doesn’t require a boat trip.
