Hot Mess is a local cover band based on the island of Providenciales. What makes this band popular among locals and visitors is the eclectic mix of pop, disco, funk, rock, R&B, and blues music they perform that can get just about anyone dancing.

Throughout the year, the band plays gigs at various popular live music venues across the island, from Castaways Conch Bar & Island Grill and Bob's Bar to H2O Resort.

Hot Mess was founded by bass guitarist and former session musician Robin Spruce during the COVID-19 pandemic. The five-member band formally began playing in 2022.

Music

This group arguably has the most diverse repertoire of the local cover bands that perform on Providenciales. From disco to Top 40 pop, their set list spans some 50 years of music across a large range of genres.

Covers include hit songs from The Beatles and Fleetwood Mac to pop songs by modern artists Chappell Roan, Olivia Dean, and Coldplay. The band has a tried-and-tested dance set that combines new pop with disco hits by groups like KC and The Sunshine Band and Sister Sledge.

While they don't take requests during live shows, the group is always working on new songs to add to their set list.

Private Events

Hot Mess is available for hire for private events, from corporate events to destination weddings (and their past gigs even include a birthday party on a private luxury yacht). They can provide their own lighting system and sound system.

As the band's members are part-time musicians, it's recommended to book a month or more before your event to ensure they're available.
