Rent a Buggy is a small car rental company based on the island of Providenciales, with a central location on Leeward Highway. The rental company maintains a small fleet of compact economy cars and Jeep Wranglers.

Rent a Buggy is one of the oldest car rental companies in the Turks and Caicos, having been started in 1983 with a fleet of actual dune buggies! Management has since changed, yet the same service still lives on.

The Rental Fleet

The least expensive options at Rent a Buggy are their economy-class cars, which include small Kia sedans and compacts. Rent a Buggy features a small collection of Jeep Wranglers, in two and four door variants, and with hard and soft tops. The fleet also includes full-size SUVs, and right-hand drive minivans.

Jeep and SUVs can be a great option when driving in the Turks and Caicos, as they offer better visibility and handle the bumps and potholes better. They are also advisable when exploring the remote west coast national parks on Providenciales.

Car Rental Policies

On one week rentals, Rent a Buggy offers the 7th day free. All major credit cards are accepted, and a card is required for reservations. Airport pickup and drop off service at the Providenciales International Airport is available. All drivers must be at least 25 years old, and hold a valid driver’s license. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental date will incur a 50% cancellation fee

Rent a Buggy is located on central Leeward Highway, in the general vicinity of Turtle Cove. Their office is about an 8-10 minute drive from the airport.
